Northland Public Library is being transformed inside and out as part of an extensive building reimagining and renovation construction project. A brand-new lower level entrance, increased accessibility, an open lower lobby and service areas, a renovated layout and extended social spaces…And yes, no more spiral staircase…highlight this exciting new era for Northland beginning in Fall 2024.
The Northland Public Library Foundation is excited to offer multiple naming rights opportunities for patrons to support the New Northland Project financially and leave a lasting mark on the Library.
Engraved Paver Fundraiser
Engraved, hexagonal permeable pavers that will be incorporated in the new, lower-level patio entrance are available for purchase for $250 each. Each 8x8" paver can accommodate up to three lines of text with 14 characters per line. Please use the link below to design and order your engraved paver directly from our vendor, Midwest Engraving, through their EZEngraver website. The deadline to order is November 30, 2024. Please help us reach our goal to sell at least 300 pavers!
Additional Information
- Paver inscriptions will appear in all upper case letters in a uniform font style.
- All engraved pavers become the property of Northland Public Library.
- Northland Public Library will determine the final placement of the pavers, which shall remain in place for the useful life of the patio, normal wear and tear excepted.
- Paver inscriptions may not include any inflammatory statements. Any objectionable paver inscriptions may be rejected by the Foundation in its sole and absolute discretion.
- Donors will be notified if changes in the requested inscription are required to conform to inscription standards.

Project Naming Opportunities
In addition to the engraved paver fundraiser, the Foundation is pleased to offer additional naming opportunities related to the New Northland Project.
- Stairway - $150,000
- Cafe - $100,000
- Teen Space - $50,000
- Book Nook Used Bookstore - $30,000
- New Meeting Room (Upper Level) - $20,000
- New Accessible Restroom (Upper Level) - $10,000
- Outdoor Bench (2) - $5,000
- Indoor Built-In Bench (1) - $5,000
- Digital Display (2) - $2,500
- Book/Display Units - $1,500
The Library's Naming Rights Policy provides that each grant of a naming right with respect to Library facilities shall be governed by a specific written agreement setting forth the duration, cost and scope of the naming right.
