Join us for the second annual Garden Gala, Saturday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Northland Public Library. The over-21 fundraising event will be full of special tastings, entertainment and more to benefit the construction of The Learning Garden at Northland, an outdoor educational space for all ages with sensory elements to help children and adults with sensory processing or emotional issues such as autism, bullying or brain injury recovery.
With music, auctions and mouthwatering treats, the Garden Gala presented by Northland Public Library Foundation is THE place to celebrate Earth Day and all the wonderful things the library offers. Honorary Chair, WPXI news anchor Peggy Finnegan, and Honorary Sommelier John Eld, will be on hand to mingle and chat in support of Northland.
Our silent auction, sponsored by Genesis Medical Associates, Inc., will include unique experiences and baskets. Bid on sports memorabilia and tickets, event and concert packages, family activities, restaurant gift cards and more.
Fine wines are sponsored by Morrison Fiduciary Advisors, Dr. Barry Rotz and Associates, Dinsmore & Shohl, and Tamara Groden/Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services. In addition, you can enjoy tastes of Arsenal Cider, Country Hammer Moonshine, Liberty Pole Spirits, Maggie’s Farm Distillery rum, Boyd & Blair vodka, 11th Hour Brewing, Deer Creek Winery and Smoothie King.
Satisfy your hunger as we showcase a wide variety of local restaurants and food purveyors. Load your plate with samples from Goat Rodeo Dairy Farm, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Monte Cello’s, Soergel’s Catering, Zuppa’s, Hampton Banquet Hall, Bistro 9101, Aladdin’s Eatery, and Texas Roadhouse. Enjoy desserts from Pittsburgh Sweet Treats, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Panera, Dunkin Donuts, HD Dudt Bakery and Good L’Oven Cookie Shop.
